Game Day

Game Day is in our backyard, so we are pulling out all the stops for this years Super Bowl party and so should you!

First: Make sure you  have decorations; there are tons of places to purchase these, such as partycity, etsy, oriental trading, etc. You can always make your own if you have the time.

Second: Give your guests the freedom to create their own delicious creation. Instead of going the traditional route (subs, hot wings, pizza), create a potato, hot dog, chili and/or pretzel bar.

We are opting for the hot dog and pretzel bar ourselves.

For the hot dog bar you can offer onions, mustard, ketchup, sauerkraut, chili, cheese, sour cream, relish, whatever.

For the pretzel bar we are giving our guests the option of both hot (homemade) pretzels and bags of pretzels that you would get from your local supermarket. They will be accompanied by different dipping sauces like chocolate, mustard, honey mustard, cheddar cheese, etc.

Third: You can't have a Super Bowl party without beer, so give your guests a selection of beers that reflect the two rival teams. Need some inspiration on which beers to get, then check out this article in Today Food

Fourth: Organize some party games. One idea could be to have each guest predict the winner's final score and write it down on a tag that's tied to their drink. Whoever gets the closest to the correct score wins something fun like beer mugs or this Craft Beer Mug book.

Make Your Wedding Fun & Unique

Your wedding day only comes around once in a lifetime, so step out of the box and have a little fun! Here are some fun and unique things that can make your wedding a little out of the ordinary.

Create this sign to allow your family to start bonding and become one as soon as they step foot into the ceremony.

During the ceremony or at the reception place love letters that were written to each other the night before in a box with a bottle of wine and nail it shut. Then when you have your first fight as husband and wife, open up the box, pour the wine, and read the love letters to each other. It will help you both remember what this marriage is really about.

Place this Love Story timeline someplace somewhere...It's just too adorable not to.

Most wedding cakes are primary picked out by the bride, so at the bottom hide whatever the groom likes...sports mascot, band logo, anything; because this day is for the both of you.

At the end of the night, everyone is usually looking for something to snack on, so put together a mid-night snack for each guest to take home with them.

You can also give your overnight guests these door hangers so housekeeping do not disturb them after their long night of celebrating.

After your wedding is over, make sure you capture your wedding cake forever with this customized ornament. All you need to do is send Aberrant Ornaments a picture of your wedding cake and they will take care of the rest!

Want some other ideas? Let us know and we would be more than happy to speak with you.

Need some quick party decorations? Then visit Party City for the latest Frozen decor and paper products.

Have some extra time on your hands? Make some Olaf cupcakes using marshmallows and vanilla icing.

If you have no time, then visit Etsy to order these whimsical snowflake cookies.

Last but not least, make sure to give your guests some fun Olaf party favors
To make these miniature Olafs, you can use Crayola Model Magic to form it's head and body and  black jewelry cording for the arms and hair. Make sure you attach the arms and hair beforehand, letting them dry. Then using wooden toothpicks and hot glue attach the mid section and body. For the nose you can use orange felt and tiny black buttons for the eyes. Lastly just add some white felt to the containers lid (where Olaf will be standing) and a couple of spoonfuls of really fine fake snow into the container before you screw together the jar and lid.

Enjoy and have fun!
