Don't go crazy this Easter; instead, relax and have some fun. Make the holiday meal a pot luck, that way everyone can contribute to the festivities. Have an Easter egg hunt for the kids -- fill up each egg with different items like candy, coins, stickers, etc. When its time for dessert, serve your "Peeps" these two dishes - they are as easy as they look.

Exhibitor 2013

Happy Monday...This week we will be soaking up all the knowledge we  possibly can at the Exhibitor Conference, so you won't be hearing much from us. See you all next week!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

What do the little leprechauns in your life treasure the most? Sweets of course! 

This St. Patty's Day, add some light to the end of their Rainbow by making these delicious treats.

Rainbow Cupcakes

Ingredients: 1 box white cake mix, 2 containers for vanilla frosting, 12-24 rainbow belts (you can find them at the local drug store) and blue food coloring. 

Directions: Bake the cupcakes according to the directions on the box. While cupcakes are baking, mix the blue food coloring into one of the containers of vanilla frosting. Once the cupcakes are cooled, assemble the cupcakes, using the blue frosting for the "sky" and the white frosting for the "clouds".

Rainbow In a Jar

Ingredients: Chocolate coins, skittles, marshmallows. 

Directions: Um - We think you can figure it out from the picture :-)

Popping The Question

A lot of people get extremely nervous when it comes to proposing to their significant other. For some reason, no matter how long they have been with that person, they become empty minded on how to actually POP the question. So, when we came across the article "Best Public Marriage Proposal Ideas", we thought it was only fitting to share our top-five favorite ideas. 

1 - Send your girlfriend on a treasure hunt. Start with a clue at home; then send her on a tour of your favorite spots all over town. When she gets to the last hint, the prize should be you on one knee.

2 - For a simple surprise, after she goes to bed, go to her jewelry box and replace her everyday ring with the engagement ring. She'll be completely shocked in the morning when she goes to put on her regular ring.

3- Upload a video of your proposal to YouTube (tell her you have a hysterical home movie to show her).

4 - Make your own message in a bottle. On the night before a beach day you've planned, write a love poem on a piece of parchment paper, roll it into an antique bottle with a cork and bury it in a well-marked spot in the sand near your towels. Be sure you "find" the bottle as you dig together -- and have the ring at the ready.

5 - Tell your girlfriend you want to make a time capsule together to bury and dig up years into the future. As you're gathering the items, say it wouldn't be complete without a picture of the moment you two got engaged! Have a camera ready to take that shot right after you present her with the ring.

A to Z

It seems like everyone is trying to put a new twist on an old tradition. So, with that being said, why not take a page out of our book when it comes to something unique for an upcoming baby shower. Instead of having a typical wishing-well or onesie clothes line, assign each guest a letter that they will need to decorate and bring to the shower. The expected mother can then hang these up in the nursery.
