Healthy Edible Wedding Favors

The other day we were approached to create customize edible favors for an upcoming wedding. The bride wanted something different than candy and cookies as her and her future husband are very health concious. Here are some items we suggested to make for her...

"Spread the Love" Jam
Printable's provided by Ladybird Press

"Meant to Bee" Honey Jars paired with Engraved Honey Dippers

"The Perfect Mix" Trail Mix

Which one would you want as a tasty and healthy favor?

Tea Party

Sometimes when throwing an event you can get caught up on the little details like what type of invitation to send out, what type of favor to give to your guests, or how to display your food in an unique way. So when a client came to us for suggestions on "different" options for an upcoming tea party shower they were hosting for their best friend we couldn't wait to share with them some of our favorites.

Invitation Options

Party Favors

Displays

You can make this yourself by crazy gluing together various tea pots, cups and plates.

Interactive Guest Book

One thing every wedding must have is a guest book; a place that will capture a snapshot of everyone who helped you celebrate your special day. Instead of have that boring old book that will just collect dust, have an interactive "Guest Book" that you can showcase.

Each guest can send their love by signing their name to one of the hearts

Grab a dictionary and have each guest sign next to the word that best describes you

Just like the hearts, guests can sign this tree print or have the guests make one themselves

Guests can sign the location where they had the best memory with you. You can customize it with hearts that mark the location where you met, got engaged, married, etc. It can be a  a map of the world, your town, state, etc.

Ask loved ones to sign a table with their wishes and remarks.

Celebrating the 4th of July

The 4th of July is a time for everyone to kick back and relax with friends and family. So with the 4th right around the corner, we thought we should keep it simple and share with you some of our inspirational party ideas that we have stumbled upon.

We absolutely love this outdoor party setting from Amy's Party Ideas.

Want more of a historical feel for your party? Check out these looks from Smart Party Planning and Celebrating the Moments by Marcie.

Want to keep it simple? Then just dress up the table with some adorable table runners and place mats from William-Sonoma.

Or you can make your own place mats and napkins.

And who can really pass up these Yummy Healthy Easy desserts.

Or these “kicked” up Smores.

Outdoor Games

Now that summer is in full force and the kids are out of school, we thought it might be nice to share with you some fun outdoor games that all the kiddies (and the adults) are sure to enjoy.

Our favorite is the outdoor scrabble game - it's both fun and educational.

Tell us what is your favorite outdoor game?

Name Our Kids

We absolutely LOVE this idea!

At the next bridal shower, have your friends and family weigh in on what to name your future kids.

Of course you don’t have to actually use these names, but you never know…you might actually fall in love with one of the names given.
