Applefest 2013

This Sunday we will be busy with the highly anticipated Warwick Applefest; so if you are near Hudson Valley New York come by and say hello.

Applefest, which began 1989 supports both the Warwick Valley Community Center and Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce. This family festival has become an event that many look forward to for the entire year. For the past three year’s Applefest is the proud winner of the Times Herald-Record newspaper’s “Best of Family Event of the Year” category and was chosen as one of the top ten festivals in the “Top 100 Events in North America” by the American Bus Association.

Over 30,000 visitors attend this one-day event, traveling from neighboring states to experience over 300 juried crafters, food vendors, and free local musical entertainment. They even have a Farmers’ Market which consists of over 22 vendors and a carnival for the kids to enjoy!

The festival proceed benefits both the Warwick Valley Community Center, Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, and over 50 other local non-profit organizations.
