Even though we love them to pieces, we sometimes struggle with what's the best outfit to wear when we want to look cute, but know we are going to be knee deep in toys; or what type of activity to have at the party to keep them (happily) entertained. This weeks linkup we're suggesting what to wear to the Holiday parties, keeping in mind there will be tons of kinds at the party. That might not mean anything to you if you're the type of adult that just kicks back on the couch and watch's the game, or chat it up with the other adults. But, if you are the type like me, to take some time to roll around on the floor with the kiddos or do some arts and crafts, you want to keep that in mind when picking out your outfit.
Flats are a must for comfort, but they still can be fun! Keeping on trend, I mixed prints, leopard and polka-dots. Found a budget friendly blouse option at Target (on right). (Throw on a long cardigan or blazer if you are chilly). I made it "Holiday" friendly by adding a red infinity scarf and my fav Kendra Scott earrings. Let's discuss the term infinity scarf for a sec. Some people call in a snood, like back in the day. But that's just a disgusting name, so infinity scarf it will be for good! Because it's my blog, The end!
